About Our Native Trees
There are several types of plants and trees that we collect from different locations in Texas that are also suited for growing in Arizona. As an example we carry the Lacey Oak, which is a medium sized tree when full grown (approximately 20 feet) with a well rounded shape, that can withstand drought conditions or periods of excessive rainfall.
How We Grow Our Trees
We do not force feed our trees to push them to create fast excessive growth. Usually, the trees we sell are two or three years old. This helps to ensure that our trees have established a solid root base. This aids in their transition from a 5 gallon pot to a permanent location.
We also transplant our trees from small pots into larger ones as they grow to help prevent tree root girdling.
We have larger trees that have been transplanted several times creating a healthy tall tree.
